What duh? Looks kind of weird and funny. But they look like they could pack some power with brushless. Pretty fast with brushless and 3s.

Hot dang! My prayers have finally been answered. A 4WD brushless ready truck sized to use a single 540 can brushless motor! (At least, I think that's the size.) All my Traxxas stuff, minus the Slash, is about to go up for sale!

But do they use one or two batteries?

Is it just me or is that a Slayer with a VXL system? They probaly had to size down cause of 4wd else it'd 1/10 scale. What's next with Traxxas Mini-Maxx or VXL Slash? lol

Mother of God. If these come in vxl versions i know what my next truck will be.

And the first pic looks to have an updated vxl system, and the second I think I can see a second battery tray/box.

Yeah dunno if I like the fact it's a mini though but should be insane if it has VXL.

If that's a 540 can then it's not really a "mini" like Losi's 1/18ths - I'd almost say its wheelbase looks about the same as an on-road touring car i.e. 257mm or so. That would kinda make it an off-road 1/12 or 1/14 (scale seems all a bit arbitrary nowadays anyway!), rather than the claimed 1/16th (IMHO)

It would be sweet if it would fit standard 190mm or 200mm bodies though! Or if these bodies (follow the link to see them) could fit on on 1/10th EP buggies or rally cars :D

What bodies? The only bodies I see there are for the Slash.

Oh yeah sorry I was, I didn't realise the pictured bodies were Slash bodies. My bad!

So is this going to take 2 2/3A size battery packs, or 2 sub-C batts?

FordTrucker

If it takes sub C packs I'm sold.

While I think it's cool Traxxas FINALLY entered the mini market, I'm somewhat disappointed how they did it. They've just recycled yet another chassis, and in this case, scaled it down. Still though, that detracts little from the fact that Traxxas has now entered the market, with not one, but two trucks.

I think I did call it though, and say that Traxxas would be different and do something other than 1/18th (they went to 1/16th).
