Based on a lengthened version of the 6-time ROAR National Championship-winning RC10T4, the engineers behind the doors in Area-51 made the SC10 both all show and all go! The result is the SC10 kit, an authentic scale racing experience.

The SC10 comes ready to assemble with a clear short course race-truck body, KMC style wheels, aggressive tread multi-terrain tires, all which have been designed to look just like the full-size race trucks that run in short course off-road series around the country. I know it's very wishful thinking but belt drive 4wd please! Yes I'm on a belt drive AE kick right now...

1/10 scale trophy style truck...?!
I believe it is a short course truck, corr style like the slash ans slayer. A little brother to the SC8, if that is what you mean by trophy truck then yes!

Again, here is hoping it is belt drive and awd!

Ditto! Otherwise, I'm going for the Mini Revo. I want something bigger than an 1/18th mini, but smaller than1/8th scale, in 4WD! You manufacturers listening?

Yeh on another 1/10th probably electric sc truck

Boo if it is belt driven 4wd (been there, done that, total pain in the ***)

Of course if its 4wd, it will be belt drive, though it could also be a b4/t4 based sc truck, AE seems like the majority of their products are intended to race, and there is no one to race with a 4wd electric sc, but there are alot of slashes out there...

Hopefully it will significantly cheaper than the SC8. Personally i'd like to see an SC5 :D

im thinking just electric version of the SC8, maybe on an extended T4 platform setup i mean if you think about it the Slash is listed as 10th scale but you can stuff an 8th scale buggy underneath the shell(SC8),more than likely itll be direct competition with the slash since 1) theyre a whole lot cheaper meaning more people will buy 2) due to to more people having them there are class specific races at local tracks. and3) Associated wants some of Traxxas' money!!!

I fully expect it to be based off the T4 and not the 4wd belt drive I want. that is just my wishful thinking. From a business perspective it makes alot more sense to be a slash competitor. unless it's a nitro, then maybe 4wd as a slayer competitor, and after converted to brushless a slayer killer!

Everyone has a different preference, but for me - here's hoping it's shaft-driven 4wd and uses standard (not saddle-pack) batteries. I would be very interested.
I realize that on a perfectly-groomed track belt-drive can be made "fairly" trouble free, but for local tracks (and bashing!) shafties are much more reliable...

i hope its 2wd. that would make me go and buy it over the slash..

and yes they are making mini slashes soo minis will be available soon too..

a little bit more of a teaser from associated. the logo now has some lightning that appears. could be a little proof of being electric. until more info appears i am not going to expect anything specific.

They dropped a little hint there, didn't they? I am fully convinced that this will be an electric vehicle.

They could go either way with this one, AE has several electrics and a couple gas cars it could be based off of. However, I would hope that they would capitalize on a market and racing class that is already there with the Slash, and make it a electric platform. But then that begs the question, 2wd or 4wd? Better performance is to be had with 4wd, but then there's a chance that even local club racers would have an "unfair" advantage over the existing Slash, so they might sacrifice traction for a more marketable 2wd class.

I just want the real CORR races to start up again!

Yup, I really want it to be 4WD, but I have a feeling it won't be. It's electric for 99.9999% sure. I hope it's based on the T4! But not if it's 4wd :)

Edit: I hope they make a Factory Team version and a RTR version... save me some cash and get some aluminum :D
