2200 kV vs. 2650 kV

Building a roller and have no batteries, yet. I know the 2650 will require higher discharge rate (C).

The truck will be used mostly for offroad bashing.

2200 will give more torque and the 2650 will give more speed.

Hmm. After watching some YouTube videos of that esc/motor combo, I'm going back to the drawing board. Looks like way too much power. I don't want my truck do a backflip every time I pull the throttle.

The MMP and 1410 motor looks more like what I'm after, but I want waterproof and don't want to do it myself on a brand new, warrantied esc.

Now I'm leaning toward hobby wing sc8 and tenshock.

Good to hear. You running 4600 kV like the one Jang reviewed? Or the new V2 that comes in 4400? I'm leaning toward the latter (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tenshock-Sho...item19d663836a)

I have a 4x4 slash that came with a Vxl3s ESC & castle 1410 3800kv motor. Should I keep that motor and get different ESC? I have another 3500kv velineon motor also. What u guys think? It seems to run 'ok' with that set up but I've had trouble before using vxl3s ESC with 4pole motors. I heard castle has a new ESC Sv3 and it's waterproof? I really want waterproof.
