Woke up to a nice sunny morning. Put some packs on the charger, made sure all of the cameras were ready, got the truck ready to run. By now, the clouds have rolled in. Carry everything back to the track. Within five minutes, I feel the first drops of rain. Curse you, hydrologic cycle!!!

So I carry everything back to the shop. Pull the wheels, and get out the Pledge. May as well pretty it up.

Then, a formula. Dremel + SC8 rollcage I bought a year ago + ProLine driver figure from Slash8 Mk.1 + silver spray paint + a heat gun to dry the paint + some zip ties =

that's awesome! so i was wondering, though, does this handle better than a stock slash with the stretch and the bigger tires? it didn't look to be as roll prone in that vid as normal slashes are.

Can't really compare, I don't think. It's got a whole lot more tire than the Slash, and even though it's carrying a lot of weight up high, it's very stable. The only time I flip it is when I catch a front tire, which collapses the servo saver and causes the truck to vault end over end. Aside from badly landing poorly lined-up jumps, I stay wheels-down for the entire pack, pretty much. No traction roll problems, and it will wheelie when the motor isn't pummeling the slipper clutch into submission.

Nice job Dr.

Good vehicle and a good video. I like the mixture of regular speen and slow motion.
It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.
