If you are rolling over because you have a more powerful motor then you really need to learn throttle control. Having a lcg chassis is not gonna stop you from rolling if you have a heavy throttle finger

I too would build my own if I had the time, money, patients, tools, materials, and the freaking know-how to do it!

I just got inspired by some of the resident master craftsmen. I have a background in carpentry, So if I wood was the medium I would be in really good shape.

As far as metals, I got lucky and found a metal supermarket store is about 5 miles from my house. Tool wise I have mainly basic hand tools, however I wish I had a drill press. Drilling holes exactly is probably the hardest part. My first 4 holes were off center. In hindsight I wish I would have practiced on something other than my one piece of aluminum first.

Other than that it was pretty much measuring, and marking, and a lot of filing.

There is a guy out there in the youtube sphere who makes all his bodies out of carved wood. I've seen a rally car and a 50's pick-up crawler he did..... Totally awesome works of art they were. LOL, oh and he ran them hard....

I never make typographical errors! Well, not often. Okay . . . really, all the time.

Actually I think my error was more due to habit.

Actually, to get a job done I need staff! No wonder I can't complete a thing nowadays!

I just installed the STRC LCG kit last night and it works well. Easy install and looks like a factory job. I've only ran it on pavement since the install but at full throttle, it now slides where it used to flip over. I'm very new to the RC thing and have got most of my ideas from this web site. I have a great power switch mod that I will post as soon as I can figure out how to resize the pictures.

Try a center punch first, then your bit wont drift.
