So I'm looking into hopping up my pro pulse I recently got for free. What I can't seem to find is some dirt cheap electronics for it. Here's what I need:

Esc
Radio
Battery and charger

I don't want to sink a fortune into this but I also wanna have fun
Keep it rollin!

Battery plugs will need to be changed to match what ever is on the esc or what ever you choose to use on both.

You can use what ever mah you want as long as the battery is small enough to fit in the tray. The most voltage I have seen people run with out damage is 8.4 volt but I. Believe 7.2 is is its rated max.

8.2 volts is what a fully charged 7.4v, 2s lipo sits at.......

8.4 volts what a 7 cell nimh is rated for... however, those will max charge to over 10 volts

Here's the battery we use.
GENS ACE 1800mAh 7.4V 20C LiPo Battery for AirSoft Gun ~$11 from hobbypartz (not very many lipo's fit this car) If you buy this battery check your polarity, you may have to swap the red and black wires!

These cars tend to burn out stock motors. I recommend going brushless, you will save money in the long run. We use the Tacon brushless 2030-21T motor and ezrun brushless 18amp speed control from hobbypartz or hobbyking. The pinions from the stock motor are compatible and this is one of the easier motors to mount in the propulse.

Radio: FlySky FS-GT2 2.4G 2CH Gun Transmitter for Radio Controlled Cars w/ Receiver (Complete Set) ~$20

Charger: Turnigy balancer & Charger 2S-3S ~$5 at hobbyking. You will need a 12v to 15v dc >750ma power supply, you can usually pick them up at goodwill for a few bucks. Or you can tap off the 12v from a pc power supply.
