It's made with 1/8 x 1/2" aluminum and some sheetmetal. I rounded the ends of the link bars, but I didn't roll the plow very well and only spent about about 10 minutes polishing it so it's not the prettiest. I loosened up the hinge and put some springs on it. The spring tension is fairly critical. To tight and the truck comes to a jarring stop when you hit a chunk of ice or crack in the pavement, to loose and the plow folds under to easily so you can't push much snow. All the hinge points have nylon washers in them too.
