I would like to get a Iron Track 1:18 scale brushless monster truck or a redcat twister pro XB brushless buggy. Are these cars any good?

Also everyone, I'm going to be getting this for Christmas, so I would also like it to be waterproof so I can drive it in snow. Another thing is I would like it to be 2.4ghz but anything will work.
Thanks again everyone on the forums!

I now have $300 to play around with. Any suggestions for an rc car under $300? At my local hobby shop I saw a use traxxas rustler vxl for only $300. Should I get it? Or should I get something else? Please Reply.

300 is a little high for used I would say. It better have some serious upgrades on it. Now if it does and comes with some lipos and a good charger you are getting a decent deal. As a rule of thumb most rc stuff goes used for about half its new value. And unfortunately sometimes less than that.

Well, I inspected it and the guy who had used it before me had hardly used it at all. The body of the car was completely perfect and the bottom of the chassis was not scratched at all. i think he only used it once.

300$ ? So im gonna say Traxxas Slash 2WD 5803. Brushed but waterproof and it has 2.4 ghz. Brushless ready transmission , tunable, Lot of AFTERMARKET PARTS which are really important if you want to upgrade along the way. And really really really durable.

( driving Slash 2WD in snow is difficult and always get stuck. Slash 4x4 is better but more costly )
