If I ever want to, I'd like to know what it'll take to change my bandit into a slash. Parts listing please!

as far as i know, chassis, maybe some steering parts, chassis braces, body mounts, tires, wheels,a body, front and rear bumpers. there might be 1 or 2 more things, but this is mostly what you need. if i'm missing something, hopefully someone will say so, but i think this will get you off and running!
I dont crash, i just loose altitude and airspeed simultaneously!

just buy a used roller from rctech or here
FT B4.2 john deere ed. Tekin RsG2 + LRP X20 9.5T or SMC 9.5T
Slash 4x4 Ford F150 Raptor w/STRC lcg chassis. Revtech 4800kv + RxGen2

That's certainly one way to go.

The above pretty much covers it but it would still make sens to familiarise your self with what you need to do by comparing the exploded views at Traxxas.com

Bandit - chassis, front end, rear end, transmission.

Slash VXL - (all)
slash5803.wordpress.com - a (poorly maintained) blog about a small toy for a big boy

I've decided to turn my bandit into a slash. Slash is just so much more popular, short course racing is much more popular, and I miss my old slash. I'll be getting the standard high center of gravity chassis as well, unless my lhs has the lcg conversion kit (doubtful).

The easiest way would be just the lcg kit from strc.

Then body, wheels/tires, bumpers and body mounts...

Success! I transformed my bandit into a Bash. An abomination of a Bandit and a Slash. It works pretty good for being semi-cobbled together.
