i have a 3905 emaxx that is turned into a 3908 w/ the MMM. how can i waterproof the esc motor servos and what ever else without anything overheating?

is probably the best vid ive seen for servos.... as for the ESC, you can probably do the same, but id suggest wrapping the ESC in some type of plastic bag and wrap it tightly around the ESC and coat it with plasti dip that way... so it doesnt run into important places.... man hope that makes sense... the problem is even if that is done, it wont be waterproof since youll need to cut holes in the fan area for airflow.....

I'd vote for setting the ESC up in a sealed metal-walled electronics project box with plenty of excess space for some air to move around. Remember if you do things to the controller itself, you may lose warranty coverage.

You could have a snorkel going out of the roof, too, for air . It's an idea anyway.

But seriously, they do it on 1:1 when they have to go through water a lot.

get a traxxas waterproof servo, balloon the reciever and zip tie the neck,use silicone on the esc just dont cover the heat sink?, or xl5 waterproof esc!!
