I still say a SCB with lay down faster laps than a SCT, given all else is equal (driving skill, power, track conditions, etc.). Better aerodynamics and no "parachute" effect in the air would give it a performance edge, IMO.
So I guess then TEN-SCBE for this guy then.
Quick question: Is the vehicle upgradable using TLR option parts? Basically turning it into a TLR TEN-SCBE?

So where have you found a Losi and a TLR version of this truck, I only find the Losi version no kit version. When I type TLR TEN-SCBE it takes me to the losi page for the TEN-SCBE or asks if I meant the TLR TEN-SCTE.

-edit- Oh man I am special, now I see what you are asking.

After a little Googleing I came across this thread http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...0-4wd-scb.html and in a post on the second page this is said. "Losi based this off the Troy Lee Designs SCTE RTR which is essentially the SCTE 2.0" So basing it off that I would assume that SCTE 2.0 parts would fit.

OP already has a short course buggy. But yes, a short course buggy will do better laps than the truck. No parachute effect with the tiny buggy body panels.

But he listed the SCBE as one of his potential candidates.

Some are, some aren't, depending on what version of the SCTE you're trying to upgrade to. The chassis are different, and some of the holes are different.

I think it would be best to start with the TLR SCTE then put the SCBE cage on it.

That's probably the route that I would go. Newest TLR Ten SCTE model (3.0) + Ten SCBE body panels & cage would be awesome.

I would think the SCBE which I believe would have an advantage with some upgrade over the short course trucks (no parachute and lower cog) but I have no personal experience with the losi Scbe.
