I took the 'SlashMit' to Sherbrooke Falls today, and it did really well:

Okay, good to know but do eucalyptus trees jump out in front of RCs like oaks and pines do here in the States?

So I took this for a drive in fairly warm weather with a 10.5T sensored brushless system I parted out from a "shelf queen", it drove through thick grass, some rock climbing, some drifting in a gravel car park, and the motor was barely warm...

I'm really pleased with how this truck has come together, and the only parts I've bought for it are those wheel arch flares for the Summit body.

I know people can be negative about Traxxas, but the flexibility their products offer is superb! Parts compatibility is a wonderful thing :-)

I went for a drive with my Slashmit this morning, and on a single 5800Mah 2S battery it lasted well over an hour - in fact I'm not sure how much longer it would have gone as I didn't even hit LVD. The SlashMit continues to be a great trail truck with a decent turn of speed when desired. I did have a bit of fun (see below) resulting in a broken output yoke (TRA6828X) and 3WD - but it was totally worth it!

(watch this on YouTube for more options)

Then I put some packs through the ERBE, Stampede and Rustler afterwards for an hour and a half.
