Not running a rear bumper right now, but I do have one from a Stampede if I ever change my mind.

I rebuilt my shocks today and added some fresh 35wt oil, and apparently I had an rpm a-arm that was broke where the "seam" comes together by the hinge pin it split. I have a few extras so that was no big deal. I cleaned and regreased all the wheel bearings as well as the diff bearings.

I must say, the little kid side of me that the slash brought out when I first got it, is starting to come back and make me remember why I bought that truck in the first place.

New stance after a nice shock rebuild and I added a couple preload clips.

Looks virtually the same just sits about 1/2" taller

I was doing a little testing to make sure everything worked as it should and after about 10 min of running, my servo locks up. Even with no power to it, it still won't turn. I am going to tear it apart to see if I stripped some gears and it got jammed up or if it just burnt up and the motor locked up. Not sure what servo I am going to get to replace but I always have good luck with Hitech so I'll probably get a 5645.

Squeegie,
What plate is that holding your hinge pins in? Probably a dumb question but I haven't been keeping up with mods, been sitting on a shelf for about a year.

Mine is from STRC's e-Buggy kit, but they do not make them right now.

Fortunately, HR makes one:

It's been over a year since I posted anything about my slash on here, today as it sits its running a castle mamba monster 2 and a 2650kv motor. Surprisingly enough nothing else has really changed other than the tires and wheels, I'm running some cheap 2.8 monster truck tires and wheels I bought on amazon.

Got any pics? I like seeing other Slash MT setups, as I'm planning to do one in the near future.

I'll have to take a couple of pictures. It's not anything special just 2.8" wheels and tires.
