I know the Trinity D3.5 family is very highly regarded. Would it be suitable in a Slash 4x4? If so what turn rating would be best? 5.5T? 7.5T? 10.5T?

I am not spec racing, and roar legality does not matter to me.

I think it would be iffy. its a 540 motor, they are great motors but they do best in smaller, lighter 1/10th racers.

No its not suitable for a slash 4x4. Trinity do make some motors designed for 4x4 sct though, such as the zombie, but their motors are not as popular as some other brands.

In a Slash 4x4 you really want a 4 pole 550 motor at a minimum.
