I've had several LCG 2wd Slashes sitting around for years now not getting used. I got turned off by the body damage and tire size mainly. I recently put a Scaler/crawler body on one to make more of an open wheel setup and threw on some 2.2 wheels/tires from a Axial Bomber just try it as a basher. The result, holy chit this thing is funnest I've ever had with an RC I think and I've had a lot. With a good 2S battery and the Traxxas 4 pole VXL it will stand on its rear wheels at a rolling 20+ mph. Climbs hills out of this world and tough as hell. I'm amazed by the results.

It sounds a lot like a 1/8 2wd buggy, along the lines of a Vaterra Glamis, or Arrma Raider XL - they are a lot of fun, even though they require some skill to keep in a a straight line!

I built one about a year ago from spare parts. It's definently my most fun rc but I'm not sure if that's because it's fun to drive or because I have no problem hurling it at walls or off cliffs because it was like a 40$ build.

Well, I guess this answers my question of what I'm going to do with my 2wd slash I just raided for parts to get my sons up and running.

If you get any pics of it I'd love to see what the beast looks like.

Its all about girth and knobbies. I had these on the back of my rc10gt. It was almost like a 4x4 with those in the dirt. Wicked.
