Looks much better, but could still go higher if you wanted. Tops out pretty quick on that school loop you were doing.

Also, don't forget to use your brakes!!! No coasting into corners!

Guilty of that here. From the F1 I've gotten better at using brakes. At least at the track. Might go up a few on pinion. I've got a 66t spur.

Yeah, you could probably double the gearing. It still looks like it isn't going more than maybe 20-25mph.

Coasting into corners is perfectly valid if the car handles it well.

My USGT car is around 26-27mph. . While it would be easy to just toss in a higher kv motor. I'm still trying to look at it as a possible class.

That seems slow for a touring car unless it's used only on short tracks. That's slower than my rally cars, and they all have lifted suspensions.

A year ago I would have said same thing. But I've learned that racing is different. USGT, F1 and VTA are the 3 " slow classes for racing. ". Motor limits, track size.

USGT.

Fyrstormer. . Is there any touring car racing in you general area.? If it's possible you should go see a race. I took me watching and finally trying to change my mindset on racing. That it's not all about top speed. The 100-200 foot straight is only a small part of track. Time is made, or lost in the corners. Traffic plays a big role. Try looking at where you run at as being only 10 feet wide, with say, 7 other cars running.

I think you mentioned there was parking lot racing around you once. Maybe that was before you moved.

There is no touring-car racing in my area. Where I used to live, people would get up at the crack of dawn on Sunday mornings for parking lot racing, but where I live now there is nothing at all -- just a clay off-road track in a loud echoing warehouse.
