Start with a Picture:

Looking to build a Slash Monster Truck.

Build List:
Slash 4x4 LCG
RPM Shock Towers, Arms, Axle Carriers and Caster Blocks
Proline Powerstroke Shocks
Spede Front Bumper
Telluride Rear Bumper
Holmes Puller Pro XL 3500KV
Mamba Monster X
Robinson Racing Slipper
Tekno Big Bone
JConcepts Tribute Wheels
JConcepts Renegade Tires
JConcepts Renegade Under tray
Large(1/5 scale motor) Castlle fans mounted on under tray to keep things cooler
Yeti Cage
Yeti Proline Raptor Body

The chassis is just a beefy build that we have seen dozens of times. The Tribute wheels come with 3 offset adapters. I am using the largest at 25mm.

The wheels fit pretty well, I am going to have to do some adjustments to the castor blocks and maybe some trimming, as there is the slightest rub.

The body mounts will be a challenge. I have a set of Proliine mounts for the Stampede and the Slash, as well as some additional Parts.

Should be a fun build.

Let me know what you think!

Looks like a lot of fun. What do those tires weigh? What kind of speeds do you think you will get?

Looks great! JConcepts is supposed to be coming out with a conversion kit early this year to run the Slash 4x4 with their clod-size tires and wheels.

Anyway, let us know how it runs and if you have any reliability issues with the big tires.

Good looking start! I'm going to sub this thread, because I was planning a Slash 4x4 MT build, also. Looking forward to see how your build goes.

Looks good so far.

Just remember to turn the front wheels lock to lock and fully compress the suspension. The back of the tires may rub the body/cage. Also check the front of the rear tires on full compression. They may rub against the body/cage as well.

Keep us posted on your build!
