So to continue the saga I added a forged aluminum gear box. Being the main center portion of the chassis is aluminum this is one big heat sink now.

A new axle set went in and of course I could not walk out of HT with just things I needed. I also bought a new RPM front bumper and a complete set of Hardened and polished STRC Steel Lock-nut type hinge pin setup. That should take care of loosing them da#n C clips.

More details still were added to the **** end with many more to come.

Sorry, the pics are out of order. The first five are actually the latest ones and the last six are the previous stages.

The shocks are some old associated shocks just sanded and polished to bare aluminum. The front bumper is now a RPM Slash front bumper.

absolutely beautiful, and inspiring.
I love the look of the narrow tires up front.
I noticed you mentioned they are the same as what you run in the rear, what are you running on the rear. LOL
and what wheels are those? did you use narrow wheels up front, or did you cut and glue them as well?

Id like to know this as well. I use bandit front tires on my slash right now, but if I could get some like this, I'd jump on it in a heart beat.
