integy seems cast to me and definitely not tempered but they are anodized. anza and strc are billet from what i can tell and tempered + anodized.Venom/atomik seem to be billet non tempered and anodized.

So uberDoward,
Will you be going into business? If so, I am quite interested.
It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.

I thought Integy used ample amounts of butter to really soft up their aluminum.

I doubt they cast, that is very expensive, and integy couldn't be moving too much product with all the hate on the web for casting to be a viable solution.
ugh,im sorry for what happenned to my account guys....

I have venom front castors, rear carriers and front bulkhead. First off rpm doesn't really count there are places where you want aluminum and places you dont so rpm for everything else. As far as quality they are not quite as good as strc and i have yet to try anza but they look good. They are however still good enough.

To answer your first post it ranks like this FLM/STRC-traxxas aluminum-Anza/Dynamite-atomik/venom/rpm-integy/stock-proline.

They are ranked this way for a reason I put anza where i would expect it to be although i dont have one of there parts. Rpm once again depends on the part. Proline i think is garbage that is too brittle to do anything with and will break very soon aka not reliable.

These are the parts that you want aluminum. Castors, rear carriers, front bulkhead, transmission, shock towers, and shocks
Thanks for great input this will really help as I select my hop-up parts. What do you think about the pro line power-stoke shocks?
Slash 2WD, Dynamite Tazer 4KV motor and esc, protrac suspension, power stroke shocks Front and Back, RPM Front and back bumpers, Velcro battery strap, ONYX 2S 5K MAH 35C Battery, RPM Front Castor, Traxxas Aluminum Front bearing carriers.

I've got a couple months before I'm ready to sell anything.

And no, casting is not expensive if you build your own tooling
