would the mamba max 7700 kv be tomuch of a motor or my nitro rusty conversion?

i wouldnt get that because you can not use 3s lipos with it.

I wouldn't do it, I had the 7700 for my E Rustler, (Not converted) and it constantly overheated on 2S lipo and 6 cell NIMH. Go for the 5700, you won't regret it, or maybe even 6900.
I see you're running 30%. Is that because you think you're slow? 'Cause you're not. You could be running 15 if you felt like it.

yeah, too fast a motor for offroad, i would go the 4600, or even the vxl with a mm esc.
