I won't run an RC with plastic hexes. Aluminum hexes, new serrated nylon lock nuts, and a good tightening of the wheel nut has prevented a stripped hexes for me for years now. What's more, I run very powerful systems in my RCs. As a friend said, "Overkill is underrated."

Yup, Al hexes are awesome. A fix for self-loosening wheel nuts. Love them on my Torment and Basher mini MT.
