I would be using far less steel than the aluminum design that i had planned.

Hobbywing told me they would repair it if i send it with a warranty card. I don't know whether it's worth it, or if they will see my wiring setup and reject it. What does the warranty card look like?

I'm assuming you are making your own axles? You'll want something fairly thick in the middle. I would say probably 10-12mm thick in the middle. I have no idea what kind of constraints you are under though. I'm estimating off the size of my Baja 5B axles. I'm assuming you want something similar in thickness.

Yeah. I couldn't find the thickness of a 5b's cvds. Hence the question. I haven't made much progress, except that I'm setting up to do a lot at the last minute. I'll post pics when I get closer to done.
