HB Racing have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming E817T 1/8th E-Truggy kit. No official word on features and specifications is available yet but given the CAD rendering the truck will use links to connect the front, centre and rear bulkheads over the more conventional and class-standard bulkhead-to-chassis braces while also utilising a clamp-style motor mount. We bring you more information on the kit as soon as they surface.

Long antenna tubes are common as it gives you something to focus on when your vehicle is otherwise obscured (behind another vehicle or track edging or whatever)

to me that's a selling point. buggy whip status!
just because it's a bad idea doesn't mean it wont be a good time.

The long antenna sticking up is a staple of an rc car. Its like how you think of a Big Mac when someone mentions McDonalds.

I'm pretty sure it's mostly the same. The new nitro truggy is already out and I'd imagine this is similar. . I'm personally happy that parts are compatible with older D8T's. The old ones are tough...but now there's some new upgrades and I don't have to buy the whole kit. Gear boxes are new and have bigger bearings(but I believe will bolt on to old chassis), center driveshafts are dogbones(no more wearing and breaking center CVDS), harder less flex arms, and universal driveshafts.

I like that there's a built in chassis brace
