I just downloaded Mandrake Linux 9.1 (i586) and burned it to cd-r
but I'm having a problem with installation. This is the message I am getting:

What do you guys think? I'm gonna try buring the ISO again in Nero and see if that fixes the problem. If you have any other ideas, let me know. Thanks. I have the 2 ISO's on cd-r's and then I burned the image file. If it doesn't check out with that program, is there anyway I can avoid d/ling it again? I only have dial-up so it would really suck if I had to d/l it again...My friend has cable though...but he already downloaded it for me.

lol we have dial-up too. And mt bro tries to download a linux every once in a blue moon. If you are going to, download it at night, when nobody calls. Or find the iso on the internet instead of the whole thing

http://www.linuxiso.org has lots of different distro's to download.

If you manage to muster up the courage to download linux over a dial-up connection, make sure you get a download manager first. I use Internet Download Manager (www.internetdownloadmanager.com), which lets me pause my downloads, and also has a nifty scheduler that allows me to have the program start and stop the download automatically. It will even dial for you, if necessary.

Sorry 43... gonna have to agree with rad rusty. md5sum those bad boys and let us know what you find.
