This will be my oldest & rarest kit build-up to date. The Fast Attack Vehicle was released in 1984, RC model #46, the first in a line of only two vehicles to be made with this chassis (the second would be the Wild One).

The suspension & drivetrain are similar to that of the Frog, but the chassis has a significantly lower center of gravity. The basic build should go fairly quickly, but hand-painting a camo scheme, particularly on the driver, will surely take quite some time. Because this is such a classic and hard-to-find vehicle, I'll take far more photos than usual.

I'm gonna watch this thread =D Btw, a couple of days ago there was a NIB Porsche 934 -- yes! Tamiya's first RC! It was sold for around €700 I think, which, in my opinion, was dirt cheap.

It's all about timing, generally 10-20 years after release products are at their peak value, and then after that it goes down.
