Thanks for the great video, I just got a Slash 4x4 with a ton of mods in a trade for my axial crawler so its nice to see how to videos that let me know what i got my self into!

I just did this and bought some shock covers off ebay, zip-tied them on and I haven't had to scrape them down in over a month.

Good video! I wish I'd watched all Jang's videos prior to working on my slash 4x4. I've had to wait until the problem exists to fix it rather than use an ounce of prevention. Scotch pads work well but the wife's nail polisher is a great idea! lol

Custom is the way to go.

I used small but strong needle nose pliers to pry it open then snap out the metal ball. Getting it back in was even harder but same idea, pry it open then push hard and it will snap in.
