i'm looking for batterys for my traxxas e-revo 5608 i saw the zippy 5000mah 3s 11.1 lipo battery and was wondering if i should buy them? thanks

Buy the best packs you can afford

Decent 40c packs are available everywhere

Try the Gensace from Hobbypartz.com, highly reccomended

If you are set on purchasing from Hobbyking get the Turnigy 40c packs, they are a better quality than the Zippy's

the gens ace are damm good packs.Crusey_aus nailed it i have a set of the 5000 40c zippy's they are a bit of a squeeze to get them in my summit the turnigy hard case no problem. gens ace 5300 packs no problem

The turnigy's that I just bought were slightly too wide and I couldn't close the door. I just bought 6 small nuts, pulled the doors off and reinstalled. It bumped the doors out enough to be able to close the doors.

Just received 2x 2s Zippy 4000mah 30c hardcase lipos and they fit. Its a little tight on the rear part of the battery door but the doors close.

the new batterys from traxxas will fit. they are the 2872 lipo 3s 11.1v 5000mah 25c. so ill probably get those!

The only problem I have with the Traxxas batteries (okay, two problems, they're expensive) is the C rating. The minimum C rating to make a happy MMM is 25C. I'd rather get a 30c or 40c and have some more headspace.

I bought the new batterys from venom they are 11.1v 5000mah 35c batterys.
