I'm excited to get to post a thread here in the 2wd Slash section.

It's a Slider I bought from SirSlash4x4.

I plan to use the Stock tires/wheels I bought for my wife's SumV until i choose a scale and type of tire/wheel.

I think I'd like a SC Buggy-type deal and will probably fabricate my own tube/cage for it.

Rpm for the arms, hubs, bumpers and shock towers. ...any other suggestions?

Was looking to spin the slipper with one of Tenshock's motors. ...any help?

I'll be using my DX3E so there should be plenty of inexpensive rx choices...

An ESC that'll run a sensored motor, has a programming card or pc programming capability.

Thanks for taking time to drop in...

Me too.
it will be my first...'er, Kit of sorts.

Gonna take it apart and locktite/lube everything.

Throw the wheels on it and See what they look like.

They are approximately the same size as the Proline Bowtie/Slash 2.0-3.0 wheel combo I gave to Stickers, albeit a bit wider, and a mm or two shorter.

It should be here monday or tuesday and I am peeing already.

This was my old TT Sparrowhawk modified heavily with TRX Revo rods and ends, BigBore shocks, Rims,Bowties and the Havoc 2s 17.5t sensored setup.

I want to recreate the look with this project, but have the parts support and durability I need.

That buggy was 4wd, but i think this Slider will make a suitable replacement.

Sure, if you really want a low aerodynamic look, get the strc lcg kit, then you can fit almost any PL 1/8 buggy body on

Very cool! Love to see where my rollers/sliders go

Not gonna go with that lcg thing... it'll run at stock height, more the overall appearance.

Maybe just a painted over-tray and a roll cage.

My head is swimming... =)

The Mamba Max Pro can run sensored motors and can be programmed via pc. If you wondering what upgrades to get for it as far as durability goes, there are tons of threads out there.

very interesting, what material do you plan to use for the roll cage?

I've considered buying some aluminum tubing at the hardware store and learn how to braze so that I can fabricate my own cage. I've even looked into the anodizing process too, but not sure if I have the time to get that involved or not.

The Turnigy parts from HobbyKing are dirt cheap and might cost only $20-$30 for the cage+body+hardware if you wanted to use their Desert Buggy parts? They are not fully stocked on parts yet, but I am tinkering with that option to convert some of my other SCT's and sell them to local guys at my track to get an SCB class going

Good Luck with this project, I look forward to seeing it shape up!
