Well, here's my build thread, it started out as rusty, then SCT system, then LCG conversion(For slash), then Wide mod with Slash arms, then,well this is my third time typing it, My ESC took a crap, but let the pics tell the story.

Have you thought about getting rid of those progressive springs?

I would have given idea's for mod's before, but it looks good...

What are you looking to improve? durability? proformance/handling? appearance?

Duarbility***I'd get some aluminum shock caps and STRC hinge pins.
Proformace/handling***lower the stance. It looks to be a high-rider.
Appearance***tidy up the wires, and mount your esc on/off switch.

and one of the things I did on my newest (used) trucks, was to switch out all the silver philips head screws with some proper hex heads.

This one started out as a rusty...but yeah definitely get rid of those philips heads.

Rustler xl-5's don't though. They have non-adjustable links, bushings and Phillips hardware.

lol. same with mine. I had bought an XL-5 bandit roller to get the chassis to do the STRC LCG kit on my slash... then I took my old slash chassis, and the remaining parts from the bandit, and made it a slash loaner for the buddies to use when they come over.
