Tower is now showing that they expect 1/10 rally parts early Nov.
If it aint broke, then break it and upgrade.

Thats a lot of coverting matey, about the only bits you can use from a 2wd slash will be the electrics, wheels/tyres, shocks and body maybe. Your probably better off going the 4x4 roller route.

I was thinking the same thing.. I hope he meant tires, body and electronics.

Well I have the system, I have 2 sets of wheels and tires, I am in a need of a new body anyway, because the current one is cracking in multiple places. I made the mistake of buying the 2wd and then purchasing a brushless after which would have been about 20 dollars off from buying the 4x4 brand new 2 weeks prior. Buying the roller would give me everything I need except for bumpers and body mounts. . not to bad if you think about it. Only problem is that a rally roller is around 230 dollars! It also states in the previos post of buying the roller to do the conversion.

Cant we just get a slash roller for around $140 and then just buy the new rally chassis?

So what is the cheapest route to take..

Slash roller to LCG
Rally roller to Slash
Or just go with Slash Roller and STRC LCG Chassis?
-Slash 2WD: Slice A4, MMP, Velineon
-T-Rex 250 & 450
-SCT 4x4 ???

Rally Roller looks like its $220 on the bay right now.
+ 30 for a SCT Body
+ $20 for bumpers
+ $7 for body mounts
= $277

Slash roller? no idea how much these are.
But its $70 LCG conversion parts ( Tower should have the parts soon )

I'm thinking Slash roller + parts listed in page #1 would be the cheapest.
Followed by Slash Roller + STRC
Rally Roller is the most expensive ( currently with the ebay chop prices )
