Since I've been running my Slash 4x4, my Slash 2wd has pretty much been sitting and gathering dust.... and then I saw that Parma has released a '55 Chevy body for the Slash. Time to make a Bomber! I picked up a set of RPM Revolver wheels, Duratrax Bandito street tires and some adjustable RPM body mounts.

My Slash already has the STRC LCG kit installed, and it seems to work pretty good for onroad driving. I have yet to drive it with the '55 body on, and I'll probably need to make some suspension tweaks to eliminate some body roll.

Overall I'm pleased how it came out. I opened up the wheel wells so the body could sit low. I still want to add some more decals to complete the look. I really have no intention of racing this beast, it will pretty much be a parking lot basher... although a group of about 10 of these on the track would probably look cool. LOL

I'd like to see RC manufacturers step up and make more bodies like this.

Here are some quick and dirty pics:

That is awesome looking. A pack of those running around a short dirt oval would be awesome. Classic NASCAR style. Need a Fairlane body too.
