Got my Rally about a week ago and this is what I have planned.
Dye chassis black

GT8 conversion

GTR shocks

PF8 Body?

Desert Rat body

Slash conversion

Tekno center drive shaft?

I could go on and on with the list but here is what I got so far.

The Desert Rat body is too narrow using the Rally wheels so I have to figure out what to use. I got the bumpers and body mounts for a Slash to do the SCT. Some XO-1 shocks to use when going to GT8. GTR spring assortments are on order.
I mainly got a Rally because I have been wanting to do a Slash 4X4 GT8 on road conversion and I thought why not do it with the Rally chassis. Any thoughts, suggestions or input would be great.

Cool, I like the black chassis.

FYI Tekno Center drive shaft will not work on the rally chassis.

Shark over at rcshortcourse tried it and there is not enough room up front for it.

Thanks.
I was looking at the Tekno last night and I had thought it would be too tight up front. Glad I didn't pull the trigger on that one. I just noticed about 1/4" movement in the shaft front to back. I can here it rattling around when driving. But come to find out this is normal.

I measured with a tape across the top of tires after pushing suspension down a couple of times. With stock A-arms.

Stock Rally Wheels - Front & Rear both -11 1/2"

Pro-line Pro-Trac Renagade Wheels with Gladiators - F & R -10 5/8"

With this set up I can use the Desert Rat body for my on road truck. The rat body width is 11" Front, 11 1/4" Rear, fender well to fender well. I am going to use Duratrax Bandito SC tires on Protrac Renegades.

I tried on my Ofna DM-1 Lid just for kicks and I'm kinda liking it.

Almost Wide enough out back but still needs to be wider in the front. I ordered a slash 4x4 Protrac kit to see how far that will bring the wheels out. I am not going to order any 17mm adapters untill I see which will work the best, AKA Slash 2wd fronts or rears.
1/8 Belted Sweeps Using AKA Slash 2wd rear 17mm adapters - F & R 11 3/8"
1/8 Belted Sweeps Using AKA Slash 2wd front 17mm adapters - F & R 11 5/8"
I also got a PF8 body on the way.

Here are some SCT shots. I didn't change the wheels back cause I got lazy but you get the picture. I will post some with Proline Trenchers later.

My first SCT lid.

Racing lid

Proline 14rs, I really dig this one as well.

I got these the other day. Need to put em on but I am going to wait till I get my Amain haul in tomorrow. So many choices I love how versatile this car is.

This looks like it might be next on my list.

Do you happen to have a 1/10 scale stadium truck body or an e-revo body to set on it?

I sat a Rustler body on and it looked ridiculous. Chassis was way to wide. Maybe a Revo body would look better. If you were to go that route.

Revo bodies fit with a small tweak to the rear mount... and yes love the OFNA body on the Slash.. I run the same one on my street Slash.
You can't understand cuz you're listening too slow.
