Whoa, realy nice work there. I envy everybody that has decent paint skilz....my own are realy poor I have a unpainted PF8 shell hanging on my wall thats been waiting on me to grow a pair and just paint the darn thing and get it over with...infinet mistakes and all

I started a Slash/Rally build prior to Traxxas coming out with the new Rally car. It goes well on ashpault. But after seeing what you have done with the Rally and knowing that my Slash4x4 crossover wont ever perform as well as I would like, Im thinking about converting my "Rally" back into a LCG offroad racer and just buying a true Traxxas Rally car.

But again I applaud what you have done...realy nice paint jobs!! And thanks for inspiring me to not attempt in trying to rebuild the wheel ....or something like that.
I use to dread every paint job I have ever done. This one especially because I knew the look I wanted but wasn't sure I could pull it off. The whole time I was painting it I kept saying this is gonna suck. I messed up here, messed up there. I then remembered that Dot4 will take off Faskolor. With A little elbow grease I completely stripped a body and repainted it. Only a few people saw the travesty that was stripped off. Since then most of my bodies have been one or two colors sometimes three if you include the black around the windows. I still have two more bodies to paint. At least one order from Amain and one from Tower and I should have all the goodies I need to finish the GT8 truck and Short Course part of this build. I am trying to decide if I want to take it easy on paint for the Desert Rat on-road body and do some wild airbrush action on the SCT or the other way around.
I also need to pick which SCT body to order tomorrow.
Thanks for the compliments everybody.

I got some new parts in. Decided to wait on doing the Tekno shafts. The only time I had a problem with the stock ones was when using MM 1515 on a Monster Slash. So I guess I will wait and see how well they hold up. I got some Ofna DM1 shock shafts to put on a set of ERevo GTR's for the Slash 4x4 portion of the build. I can't remember who first did that mod, may be rcwilly, but I saw it on URC and they work great. So I thank you for that one. More pics to come soon. Hopefully a painted Desert Rat and SC body.

I wish I could find better. Paul at one point had one in British Racing Green that looked awesome.

That's great. Funny I was just going to do the outline of the panther like that one. Would have been much easier.

Reminds me a bit of the Holden racing team livery, which is basically GM/Chevy over here in NZ and Aussie
