A nitro slash is kind of moot to me at this point.

No it is not, but you can convert the 2wd slash to a LCG chassis with an STRC LCG kit and a rustler chassis, there's also a few aftermarket LCG chassis kits out there, Anza, Pro-Line, Slice etc etc.

Oh man, the TRX 3.3 in a 2WD slash? It was already a handful in the nitro Rustler.

Knowing Traxxas, probably will be an extended nitro Rustler chassis with a lot of recycled parts.

Given that this is actually gonna happen...

Buy this, strip all of the nitro equipment and sell it on ebay. Buy whatever electronics you'd like.Find a way to get a motor mount of some kind. With a mid motor setup and low center of gravity this could kill it at high traction indoor tracks.

Moved out of news since it's a "rumor" leaked from somebody with loose lips violating NDAs & basic media etiquette.

It's not a rumor at all and I already created a thread about it many hours ago.

http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho...34#post1569434

I was the one that leaked the info to the world (including to Big Squid) as I was video view #1 that RC Car Action accidentally posted public on YouTube for a few moments.

Supposed to have LCG with an aluminium chassis and a TRX 3.3 as power plant.
