Great job man! Chassis looks great, very compact and nice placement of things, I see your gens ace battery strap, I just got one of those this weekend
let us know how it does at the race! it turned out awesome!
First race for the LCG chassis and it performed really well. Because it was a Traxxas race day the HobbyWing brushless set up i have couldn't be used so had to run with the original Titan 550. It was a mixed class, so it was my Slash up against Rustlers, all running VXL set ups.
Decided to push for a bit more top end speed for qualifying and went with 23 pinion 90 spur. I know not a great idea but i had a spare motor so went for it. Third fastest time after first qualifying so was well pleased. Second qualifying session the motor died 4 laps in.....the bushings gave way to the extent that the pinion teeth no longer engaged the spur at all....
New Titan motor in and back to 19 pinion for the first main, 2nd place followed by 3rd in the second leg of the main for 3rd overall. All in all a pretty good day. And the chassis held up fine.......
Thanks again for all the encouragement and advice during the build......
