it is a home made cage it is good and strong i did not build it it was with my truck when i got it i have been thinking of taking it off but not sure

Nice cage though. It does add quite a bit of weight but it's just my basher so it doesnt really matter to me.

and side panel material could be easily found in either reusing old pop bottles, or pop cans! the only down side to these is that dumb high clearance center chassis on the slash, sometimes these chassis don't look right bodyless for some reason.

That's awesome with just the cage on it. I never did like the Jato arms on the trucks but they go perfect with the sandrail look.

thanks imahab. I don't like the look if I had a chortcourse body on it. I think the jang mod looks better but since this is a sandrail it was only fitting

Somewhere on this site I think in the 2wd section under pre runners a guy put an SC8 rollcage on his that looks pretty sharp to.

deedub, what is the overall width of this cage? is it the same as the slash chassis? is there anyway you could take some measurements of it? thanks!

the one on my slash is made from aluminum

the cage, or the body panels? the integy one is welded steel wire.
