I've recently done up my slash 4x4 as an mt. Revolver wide crawler rims, regular 2.2's won't clear the steering on the front, topped with mashers. 11t pinion. Shocks I've moved the tops out and the bottoms in a hole and added +20 springs on the rear. I have an emaxx body on mine as low as it will go, I used the stock body posts and redrilled the holes as needed. I find its very stable withe the wider stance of the off set rims even after sitting higher now. I run mine on 2s with the velineon system and its plenty fast enough for what I need.

I like the slash better than the pede because of distance between axles. It seems more stable. Here's some picks of the latest one I built

This will pull a wheelie going half throttle. Crazy power and speed. It's far from stock but the other two slashes I have for my boys are mostly stock but with trenchers, proline body mounts and custom truck bodies. They look awesome and are a blast to drive!
