It's over priced because you had one and didn't like it? Or it's over priced because you think the other is cooler? I think it's pretty cheap compared to the others and works great for me. NO rollovers and handles great. Having said that I am will say I've haven't tried any of the other chassis....

If I'm breaking an aluminium chassis I'd like to know what i'm doing???? But the only I see breaking it is it getting run over or hitting a brick wall head on at 70 mph..... None of which i'd do or allow.
Ill use this example. I had a 1/8 inch stainless steel rod used as a chassis brace on my e revo. Took me all of 20 minutes to break it and the chassis at the skate park.

Took flat ground and a barrel roll to break my stock slash chassis. I'd rather break something cheap and easy to replace.

yes well well skate parks plus david = not likely. If your running a skate park the last thing you want to put into your truck is money.

No no, not that at all I mean for some one that docent get allot of money (like me) at one time and has some saved up i would just go for the other one since is was made bay a well know brand.

I am not trying to talk bad about the A3 or anything, it is a great idea and thought, but the other is newer and more than likely machine build rather than hand made. (witch could be a good thing or a bad thing).

Also would you be as so kind to post a picture of your truck with the A3 chassis on it please?

I don't have pics of mine but here is a nice video it has a Slice A3 and a stock slash so you can see the differences. There are also updated versions of this chassis and ones for the 4WD Slash at the chuckworks site.

Love my STRC LCG Slash. I don't see the need for spending more money.

I agree totally. Except I did mine for about 20 bucks in aluminum plate, and screws, instead of the strc kit. Works just as well, and if anything breaks on the chassis, I can just make a new and improved mo/better one.

Besides, i am having no luck getting near 88 mph, with the added weight of the flux capacitor unit. It may be awhile before I can get my Lcg timetraveling slash anywere out of this timezone.

blakktalon, not all of us are as mechanical as you. I buy stuff and leave the fabrication to someone who knows better.

I would build my own if I had the time, money, patients, and tools to do so.
