Please only answer if you have owned both....okay, if YOU (not a buddy) own either please give me feedback. Please include driving environment and purpose (bash/race) and spring setup. Thanks.

The GTR shocks are brand new. You're gonna have a hard time finding someone who has used both on the same vehicle.

Pro lines are sick right? GTRs are just big bores with threaded adjusted right? I will take opinions on big bore vs pro lines if available.

I actually purchased GTR shocks shortly after they same out. Got them home and after examining them (nevwe seen big bore in person only my stock ones) thought they seemed oddly deceiving in size and "heft". Yes the hardware (shaky/ends/balls) are better than big bore but the shock bodies are not as big as they seem. Anyone do volume tests yet? I believe they are "hardened" plastic (i.e. Thickly coated big bore bodies). Look I am not banging on them, just didn't life them for there cost. Funny thing, today I brought a motor back to my LHS and instead of taking store credit snagged the last pair of prolines they had in equal trade. They seem to have more "functionality" though I have yet to read up on exact tuning. 2 springs and adjustable bodies make them more appealing just visually and logically. Again just my opinion and sorry if you felt like I was calling the GTR identical products. Keep your thoughts coming.

Must be a real thick coat to get them to 13mm.
Shafts are also thicker, now 3,5mm

I owned the prolines for a short time. They felt mushy and too soft for the weight of the 4wd slash. They would probably work better on lighter 2wd applications.

I currently own the Powerstrokes and I think they are terrific shocks. Even thought you ave to spend upwards of $100 for 'em, they really perform the way they should. if you have a slash 4x4 you should play around with different shock oil. and if you havent ever opened the shocks, you really should because they dont come with oil. because they are race shocks. I have also owned GTR shocks and i like the Powerstrokes much more. even though i paid more i think the value is there.
