i personally strongly dislike all the traxxas 1/16 vehicles, you need to put so much work and money into them and in return you still get mediocre performance. Just get the 1/10
-Kawasaki edition summit /-Associated SC8e / Brushless E-Revo / -Stampede 4x4
- SCX-10 / - Slash 4x4/ -RC10GT/ -Kawasaki rustler vxl/ -OFNA Ultra LX2 / -Vaterra Kemora / thunder tiger sparrowhawk xxt / -losi xxx-scb (ready lift)

Personnaly I feel the big brand 1/16s are a little steep for what youre getting. If you dont mind a little less weight and ground clearance and if you have a good place to run it then you will be happy. That scale doesn't work well for me just because of where I run them at home. (A lot of grass and some rough terrain)

stick with 1/10. They are fun as bashers though.

Take it from experience (aka old age), go big. My favorite truck is my Traxxas Summit and then, my little 1/10 Slash.

Can't a local hobby shop near you give you a fair price? Maybe get an XL-5 and upgrade?

First I don't have a LHS and second the XL-5 idea might not be a bad one thanks
