So I installed my TenShock Motor, tested it some, then the pinion came loose so while loctiting the pinion I swapped my reciever for my new dx3 and also checked out my hobywing programmer. I made a few ESC tweaks then powered up and tested the throttle. When I pull the throttle, not nuch happens but some twinging and the wierdest part is the power cables (battery and motor) move when I throttle up, also all the electronics get very hot very fast including the wires to motor and battery. I am at a loss except that I programmed something really wrong. The gears do not bind and the motor spins freely when I turn the wheels manually. I know this is probably a noob mistake and will default the esc tonight when I get a chance to play some more. Any other thoughts are very welcome. Oh, yes the battery is connected properly.

Would but my old motor is toast and I also cut the esc power connector to my vx3 because I needed the adapter to use on my new one. I am pretty sure I screwed up the programming, I will just default the settings and go from there. Thanks.

Gear Mesh and ESC mis-program, thanks for the help. Mod 1 gears for a few days just to get up and running. Waiting on 32p 5mm setup to come in.
