kv is too high. unfortunately that seller only has 6900 and 7700kv combos available currently.

5700kv would probably be okay in a 2wd slash, but might run a little hot depending on your gearing.

3800kv or 4400kv would do well. The motor is super powerful, and the ESC can handle more voltage and amps than the Castle Sidewinder.

I vote for the Tenshock SC401V2 combo. I'm contemplating this motor for even my 4x4 Slash. I've read nothing but good things for this 4-pole sensorless motor.

Do you have a local hobby shop? I'm sure they'll do it for you. Might charge you a few bucks though.

Edit : in the links you posted, you would still have to solder a battery connector. So either way you'll have to get it soldered.
