The Turnigy Lipo Protector is made entirely from soft compliant silicone, it's purpose is to help stop your Lithium Polymer battery moving in around during model use, whilst also adding a layer of abrasion protection and vibration absorbtion.
This sleeve is designed for 1600 - 2200, 3 - 4S packs, it is suitable for batteries with dimensions up to 110 x 40 x 38mm.

Note: The sizing is approximate as the silicone material is stretchy.

Weight: 18g

Good for impacts, but I doubt it's good for heat...

I just put a slightly fat rubber band on either side of the lipo battery that contacts with the truck battery case. Its not as bulky and makes the battery snug enough in said compartment.

I agree with the heat issue - i prefer to keep my lipo's as cool as possible. on a hot day - they get warm. batteries do not like heat.
