I just fitted some new Losi springs to my Rustler.

It's meant for bashing and jumping!

Current setup

Front: stock oil (should be 30wt), blue springs

Rear: 45wt oil, blue springs

I.e. on the front, I get the feeling these blue springs might be too hard... what ya think?

If I searched correctly, a racing setup would be orange front and silver rear - at least for the springs, right?

bump... any comments?

I took it out for a run at the construction site.

It felt OK, although I haven't other springs to test with...

Here what I am running on my Rusty for my bumpy backyard trash track:
Losi orange (F) Silver (R) 35 wt oil

I would think that the blue springs are way too hard.

Sorry if this is thread jacking, but I think I read somewhere that the stock rustler front springs are 4.2. Is that correct, and if so, where can I get stiffer springs?

My stock rusty front springs are no where near that firm.

I run Losi springs --- orange (front), silver (rear) in my Rusty.

Oh. Well, that's good to know. Then blue and black are stiffer than stock?
