Long story short I got rear ended during a race and it pushed the motor into the spur gear. I didn't realize it and kept driving. Two laps later the motor locked up and started smoking. Checked temp, it was 127 degrees. I took it apart and checked the bearings, they were fine. Smells like burnt electrical inside. Put the truck back together and it worked. Ran it in the main it seemed to work like normal but was 125 degrees. every race before that it was 90. What do you guys think? Is it junk or should I just keep running it?

I say keep running it, 125F is well under the normal acceptable 150F for motors.

Just seems weird that it ran almost 30 degrees higher then it had been previously.
