RC Flea Market forum rules -- MANDATORY:
(If you don't follow the rules below in full, YOUR POST WILL BE DELETED without warning)
  1. ALWAYS start your "for sale" post title (subject line) with "FS:" and start "wanted" listing titles with "Wanted:"
  2. You may only buy if you have been a member for 3+ months, sell after 6 months, no exceptions (learn why).
  3. Include clear, current photos of any item worth $50+ USD. No "email me for pics," no "pics later," no photos from the web, no exceptions.
  4. List only items that you personally own. Friends & family must use their own accounts. No commercial listings.
  5. Sellers, do not request PayPal "gifting" or any extra fee for PayPal payments. Wrap any desired fees into your item prices.
  6. You may "bump" a thread only if it falls off the first page of topics.
  7. If you aren't seriously interested in a purchase, don't reply to an ad unless you strongly suspect fraud.
  8. When your item sells, edit your thread's title to "Sold," but don't delete the original post.
Warning: Trading (item for item) is extremely risky and fraud-prone, and thus very strongly discouraged. Individuals in small towns can acquire a proof of shipment receipt from a "friendly" US Postal Service employee while an item is actually on hold at the postal station, thus trades can only be based on blind trust.

EDIT: Hobby harder shirts, stickers and stuff for sale

Here I want to discuss the design and production of the "Hobby harder, it'll stunt" t-shirt design (and what might follow it).

Arrma proclaimed their Outcast to be a "stunt truck". quicksilverx had issues with his. Utrak said "The stunt car didn't stunt do hobby to it, it'll stunt ". frystomer went: "If it still doesn't stunt, hobby harder." and finally stewwdog was like: "I now want a shirt that reads 'Hobby harder, it'll stunt'." He wasn't alone!

I created a very rough draft:

I'm still rotating, organizing christmas presents and stuff, but should get to more serious drafting soon. It might end up upside down.

I'm leaning towards using spreadshirt.com, though threadless.com or redbubble.com would be options. Looks like a basic t-shirt with full color print starts at $16.49. Adding my comission, it would be $20 at the very least.

Does anyone want something else than a black T-shirt?

Being someone from the southern states who does most of his hobby during the 80F Georgia spring and 95F summer.... I would opt for grey or white over black.

Regardless of color options, consider this post a +1 to interest.

May be less costly in the long run to go get a price from a local screen print shop. The initial order will be higher due to art/screen charges, but re-orders would be much cheaper. Should still come in around the same pricing as what you're quoting from the web based sites. Just a thought coming from an ex-screen printer

I'd also be in for a lighter color. White, Ash Gray or Athletic Gray

Great idea and 1st draft. Thumbs up

I will take one or two of the shirts. I would take it in black or whatever color it comes in... it's cold here

It will be fun to see this come to life! Thanks thorwill.

I have a good friend that owns a print shop in town and I also throw him business all the time... I can see what he would charge once we have it all put together.

I still think it should involve a ramp, some fire, and/or other Super Mario/Sonic the Hedgehog style obstacles, but either way I'm in for one if/when they are made.

Maybe Jang would consent to have the URC logo show up somewhere on the shirt?

Eh, voting doesn't work well for artwork. Ever heard the saying "A camel is a horse designed by committee"? Giving him ideas is fine, but let him pick the ones he thinks work best together.
