I just got the Street Sport fully wired up for the first time, got it calibrated, and took it for a very brief maiden roll on concrete. I knew it was going to be pretty quick with the power combo I've installed, so I had the controller tuned down to very conservative settings. However, it wasn't enough. I gave it what I thought was the very slightest blip and a swelling of panic gripped me as I immediately hit the brakes It came to a rest about 40 ft. away. Holy. Crap. With the starting throttle curve about 50% below linear, struggling to give the absolute minimum trigger input physically possible, the slowest it would go was power-walking speed

I'll have an update with photos on the project page either tonight or Thursday.

Crazy... Sounds like it would beat out my GTB 5.5 powered B4 in a drag race.

What motor is in this thing? I would expect it to go insano fast since it's just about the same as a 1/12 pan car minus some cf.

I meant does the wing work in practice, not just static, but when you're actually racing down the street.

AH gotcha. We shall see. I'm going to have to find a REALLY large area to run this thing in, but I will start very slow as I work out the kinks and try different gearing & such.

Did the info about the ESC I gave you help?

Sorry, I had missed your post. I just responded in the other thread. I'm not using that controller on this car, though.

So Jang, what are your power sources for the car... ESC, Motor, batteries ect.?
