I would like you all to contribute pictures of your rigs, scale and wildly unrealistic.

I think just having a thread for pictures would be great to help out people on building and getting ideas for rock crawling.

Also, if we could get up a spec sheet for your rig..that'd be great.

Plus, be sure to add your pics to the URC Galleries Rock Crawler album, then just post the "Forum Code" thumbnail!

Just copy and paste this

Truck Chassis:
Body:
Motor(s):
Transmission(s):
Axles:
Gearing:
ESC:
Radio/Reciever:
Servo(s):
Tires/Wheels:
Battery(s):
Other Modifications:

So come on, it don't matter if it's a TLT or a nylint. Let's see those pictures!

hehe...there's a little bit of duct tape under it too...

canadianrcist - I definitly agree..but he doesn't seem to want a different chassis because we do really light crawling although we do find some areas that are hell on the rigs but just can't resist. My next purchase will most likely be a tlt and I plan to get junfac's tracer chassis conversion kit..I'm looking at some others but I'm liking the tracer's design..

nope, I have seen that done and I know some like it but I don't really like it as well as he doesn't either...I know the hardcore crawler guys have alot of different ways to gain a bit of performance but these aren't high performance comp rigs..just for bashing.

Here's my crawler. Still quite a bit of work to do to it. It's good enough to post pics though I guess. The body was originally meant for my pede, hence the extra holes LOL.
Truck Chassis:

Body: HPI 73 Ford Bronco.

Motor(s):27 turn in it right now, waiting on my 55t lathe to arrive at the LHS.

Transmission(s):Stock TLT, locked with screws.

Axles:Locked TLT by wedging the spider gears.

Gearing:right now it's 87 spur and 23 pinion. Have a 12 tooth pinion waiting to go in once I feel like cutting the tranny up to make it fit.

ESC:Old worthless duratrax blast thet'll probably bvlow up when I install my 55t

Radio/Reciever:Old, yet again worthless futaba magnum sport.

Servo(s):Even more worthless futaba s3003 from my parts bin (will upgrade eventually).

Tires/Wheels:Traxxas stampede fronts all the way around. Yokohama geolanders with stock foams. (I will cut them down eventually)

Battery(s):gp3300 from RS or shark 1500 when the 3300s are charging.

Other Modifications:Extended wheelbase on stock TLT TVPs, extended dogbones with some aluminum rod and the stock dogbones cut in half. Held together by JB weld haha! Custom battery mount to place more weight on fron tires. Ummmm, some more stuff to come eventually. Working on bumpers right now.

That's pretty scale!

would the stock body posts be able to fit a body like that with a wheelbase extension to fit a 1/10th?
