What they should do for power is use a single sub-C pack! Just say "no" to having to charge two packs, or getting a whole new set of packs just to run one new vehicle!

Savage: Don't forget Kyosho has already been up & down the 1/16th size with the Half-8 series, doing a buggy, truggy, and scaler. I think Duratrax classified their Vendettas as 1/16th too, though theirs are a pretty small 1/16th.

I'm with some of the other folks here (and mdrcracing was the first to point it out to me), this new Traxxas chassis looks larger than 1/16th. Doesn't matter too, too much though; I'm still verrrrrrry interested. Indoor Min-E-Slayer racing during the cold months would kick all hiney.

That may be true Jang, but a lot of other companies like Losi, Associated, LRP, and Tamiya (though now discontinued), elected 1/18th as their scale of choice for several models. Traxxas is being "different" so to speak.
Traxxas: Stampede, 3905 E-Maxx
Losi: Muggy, Mini Desert Truck

Yes! That's what I am hoping for. I have been wanting a 4wd, single battery, single motor, 1/10th scale truck for a while. I know that the Axial Rock Racer fits that bill, but it's more suited for crawling, and I wanna go fast! I also know that the mini e-revo is not 1/10th scale, but it's more along the lines of what I want. Now if only we could find out how many batteries it requires...

My opinion is that traxxas is not that impressive.they just keep with the same chassis and just put a few add ons.the summit is not that great,i like the locking diffs and low and high range. It is too big and takes 2 batteries.
just my 2 cents
